Role and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- On-line (& off-line) Partial Discharge Testing (in addition to other condition-based testing) at customer sites.
- Installing and commissioning Monitra sensor and plant monitoring solutions at a variety of customer sites.
- Providing Partial Discharge data analysis and collating customer reports.
- Reporting on technical data to senior engineers.
Training – Full training on our products and services will be provided.
The role will be office-based, with occasional working from home. We anticipate regular travel to customer sites across the US. This may be up to 50% of time, typically day trips or between Monday-Friday.
Site allowances and overtime will be provided for customer site visits on top of base salary.
Essential Requirements
- A degree in a STEM subject (or equivalent) with work experience, or to have worked in a similar field for over 3 years
- Experience working on high voltage equipment
- Knowledge of safety precautions related to working with electrical and electronic equipment
- Self-management of assigned projects
- Strong computer skills including report writing
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
